Can't you get it by grabbing the 3 source packages from here:
http://packages.debian.org/sid/lyx (see section on right)
and execute
dpkg-source -x lyx_2.0.0-1.dsc
Descend into the subdirectory lyx_2.0.0 and you will find it.

It would be useful to those using the 64 bit version of Ubuntu. You
could install the i386 package on an amd64 system using a forcing option
in dpkg but this is suboptimal.
