I too now have to report that, at least in Lyx 1.4 3-4 running under
windows on my computer, the option for changing the colour of the math
background does not change anything.
(Just to be sure that neither I nor my computer are doing somethin
formula and the text following or preceding it. There were possibly
other
reasons also, but I cannot remember now. I am sorry that I did not write
to you then, but I was very pressed for time.
