If I do the following, I get a "Unassigned buffer_ member" message:
1. Start a display math mode.
2. Paste the following into it x=\frac{1}{2}.
3. Do Ctrl + Return.
4. Execute 'tabular-feature copy-row'.
5. Press (to move to the second row).
6. Press (to move to the left of the "1").
I get the

New version for testing here:

Hopefully solves both problems with the earlier version. Please see
"Installer 3" thread, though, for some caveats.

Usually, hitting return presses OK, but not in this case. Hitting return
adds a citation, when one is selected. One solution (not necessarily the
right one) would be to make hitting return press OK when a citation is not
selected.

Sorry. The Alt + O + enter keyboard shortcut doesn't select and press the
"OK" button. There may be another way to do this, but I have tried and
haven't found it. Forms on the Mac aren't always as keyboard-friendly as
they might be, is my impression.

Hi,
I just checked the new installer. The crashing on closing the PDF reader
seems fixed. However,
1) if one installs it over the existing version, it will create a second
LyX version rather than replace the current one. There will be a LyX.exe
as well as a LyX2.3.exe.
And
