This bug is listed on bugzilla, and has been fixed in the forthcoming

Hi all,
I have just installed LyX 1.2.3 on a RedHat 8.0 box from the RPM found by the link
from lyx.org official website. It seems to have a new issue of the minibuffer; since I
was not sure whether it is a feature or a bug, I decided to write to the mailing list
before submitting a bug report.

I applyed and tested it here and it solves the problem.

Lars, may I submit this patch to reLyX please. It simply adds a paranoia
check that we don't attempt to access an element beyond the end of the
array.
It therefore removes a warning message generated because reLyX tries to
access a non-existent column when reading the test case to bug 722.

Can someone explain this piece of perl to me in English
$i++ while ${$row->{"cells"}} [$i]->{"multicolumn"} eq "part";
I've got as far as: increment $i by one whilst (expression) is true where
expression is ${$row->{"cells"}} [$i]->{"multicolumn"} eq "part";
Therafter, I go pop ;-)

Hello,
several translators have replied to my call for translation. We can
expect some updated po files in the near future (e.g., Claudiu Costin
promised to send an updated Romanian po file in a few days).
I think it's worth waiting and fixing LyX bugs in the meantime :-)

Description: GNU Zip compressed data
The bug:
reLyX does not translate "\ " and "~" (protected spaces) inside tabulars
correctly.
reLyX has subsequently been modified to translate '~' to
protected_separator.
My LaTeX knowledge is insufficient to say that there is no LaTeX difference
at all between '~' and '\ '. Can someone knowle

Hello Angus
I prepared an rpm for SuSE 8.1, but the ftp server ftp.devel.lyx.org
seems to be down for the moment.
BTW, make rpmdist did not work for me (no rpmbuild script), so did it by
editing the spec file that came with the SuSE rpm of 1.2.0 and doing 6
attempts of rpm -bb before I finally

Sure. Presumably related to that missing psuedo-code in input.

I'm rather embarassed by this in view of my continued discussion with CG
about key composition but...
I have Multi_key composition working perfectly in other x-apps (eg emacs,
konsole) and it also works perfecly well in the Qt version of lyx, but...
in the xforms version of LyX it ain't working
Looking at your patch:
In forms.h you have this as well as one for 'fl_get_composed_string'.
+FL_EXPORT void ol_get_composed_string(
+int * ptr_kbuflen,
+char const * ptr_keybuf
+);
I take it that this is

The fix for #849 has not yet been applied (and it most likely will not before
1.3.0). Did you try to apply the fix locally and test?
Jürgen.
Hello, Angus;
I'm back now and this is how far I've got:
1. Migration of XIC from flresource.c to forms.c is now complete (more or
less). If I remove stuffs in lyxim.C from CJK-LyX, I find
that precomposition of CJK-characters on both XWorkArea(main lyx window)
and the xform box become possib

It works, thank you. BTW, testing it shows that bug 849 is still there,
although there is a patch for it.
João.
