I made up an rpm of ghostscript for RH7.2 with the patch (see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=55772) applied
which fixes the rendering problem with LyX preview figures.
If there is a place to put it, I can upload it somewhere.
I have a .src.rpm (14.5Mb) and a .i386.rp

I had look at the patch... Seems that the Paragraph::next and
Paragraph::previous are still in use. How do you plan to remove them? I
suppose that once you have encapsulated them inside the iterator and
removed all uses from the rest of the code that it will be an easy
matter to remove
I've setup php4 on my home machine and tested www-user on it.
All pages of our creation works fine without any changes -- simply
tell apache that .php3 files get handled by mod_php4 also.
However, there is one snag: the Feedback form.

The attached patch prevents multiple entries in
LaTeXFeatures::features by placing a check in LaTeXFeatures::require.
It also implements HTML urls when the HTML Type Checkbox is ticked.
\htmladdnormallink can still be overridden in the preamble.

cvs uses \textasciicircum and \textasciitilde for ^ and ~.
This is in difference to 1.1.6 where the original latex-

sure, but at first there should be the same behaviour
in lyx for all parts. As I wrote it's different between
insets like url's and the standard text.
