I have noticed two bugs in the LyX 1.1.6fix3b
(version 1.1.6 fixed with 3b fix):
1) \gamma, \sum, etc. are not displayed in LyX
itself (instead I see an empty space), but only when I view compiled ps, dvi or
pdf file.
2) In the file menu there is no import for LaTeX
file, but only

There are problems with editeing a lyx file in another directory and insertgraphics.
specifically with relative paths in the dialog
1) the valid check in the dialog needs to be buffer-relative, not relative to where
lyx was started (easy to fix)
2) conversely, you can't pass a relative from_fil
it crashes otherwise (I saw this when insetgraphics passed a relative
path to Convertors.convert - patch coming)

Also consolidates the code a little. Semantic changes :
1) the second case got the inset_x calculation the wrong way
round as far as I can see.
2) in the second case, the cursor.y() is for the /next/ row. I
