Things have got worse with my DVI preview in Lyx.
In an attempt to fix the non rendering of my ps figs in the DVI viewer I tried
using a temp directory in the Preferences. This actually worked.
I then turned off the temp directory flag. Now I don't get any dvi file. Lyx
tells me it's ge

A couple of users reported that they couldn't get recent Ghostscript
versions to work with LyX with displaying figures inline. It transpires
this is a Ghostscript bug
