I'm beginning to wonder if this is a bug or a feature, but at least it
is surprising behaviour :)
I have two tables in a row.

I'm sure you'll all be happy to hear that it took me only a few hours to
upgrade my thesis style file to a class file, and even getting rid of a
couple bugs in the style file in the process. I'm back in thesis-writing
business again.
If I get the time, I might make a ucthesis layout for LyX. ucth
I have also created a tag in cvs: lyx-1_1_6pre1
The tar file: lyx-1.1.6pre1.tar.gz has been put on

I'll announce the prerelease here on the devel list first, and on the
users list + announce a bit later.

The crash happens as your XForms library is compiled f
This one is more annoying than the last.
Let's say I've got a document in directory foo with included eps files
in directory foo/pics. Then I cut and paste part of the document
(including a figure) into another doc in directory bar/stuff. The image
displays properly, but with the wrong path sto

Nice to get positive feedback. You've just listed all the "new" dialogs as
working elegantly and all the "old" dialogs as not!
As dialogs get ported to the GUI-independent way, all the xforms dialogs will
behave in this way because they all derive from a common base class that
controls this fu
Hi,
I find it very elegant when all LyX-dialogs will be
hidden, when the main LyX-window is iconized. Some
dialogs do this already, such as:
Tabular Layout
Prefences
Input (for labels)

Citation
Index
URL
Paragraph Layout
Document Layout

Hi,
I'm running the latest 1.1.6cvs/XForms 0.89 on Linux RH 6.2 PC.
Be sure you have a fairly empty ~/.lyx/ directory
(only the bare "first-startup" files/dirs)!
Then start LyX and choose File->New from template.
Two ways to let LyX hang:
(1) Click on .
LyX seems to go into some infinite l

Not even with 0.89. I've just re-installed it and find no difference. (This

Hi,
this is meant as a bug report, hopefully the correct address.
Otherwise I'm sorry.
1) Lyx crashes then first opening e.g. HELP/FAQ, then pressing
on Menu TOC
2) Resizing the window has some optical problems, I did not
see them in 1.1.5fix1...

I'm trying to put together the Language entry.
Could someone "who knows" take the time to fill in some comments to the
variables below. The

I applied the patch to 1.1.5cvs too.
