This one is more annoying than the last.
Let's say I've got a document in directory foo with included eps files
in directory foo/pics. Then I cut and paste part of the document
(including a figure) into another doc in directory bar/stuff. The image
displays properly, but with the wrong path stored, and saving and
reloading the doc loses the image.
On the other hand, if I copy the image into bar/pics/subdir (to modify
it, or just to have local copies of stuff so I can have my course notes
complete in a single place), then I hit the following bug. Suppose I
try to (after copying, before saving) modify the path to the copied
image to point into bar/pics/subdir. Then the image won't display,
won't LaTeX, etc until after I save and revert-to-saved.
These bugs are clearly related. I wonder whether this is something that
the new CVS figure handling has fixed automatically? If anyone wants
more details, I can provide them, including a minimal directory tree
(perhaps simpler than my current example) with LyX and eps files to
display this bug.
