I ran across two small problems while compiling lyx-1.1.4. First,

Second, there is a comment in src/screen.C
I have a file that has an umlaut in its name. When I try to view DVI it
doesn't find the dvi-file because it no longer has that umlaut but a '|' in
its name. Interestingly when viewing PS the command line has the correct
name with .PS ending but the incorrect one with .dvi ending.

In version 1.1.2, \dot and other operators of the same kind, if typed
"as is" in math mode, produce:
\dot{{}X ...
instead of
\dot{X} ...
The wrong code is "correctly" displayed (the dot being not at the right
place), and manually fixing the .lyx file fixes this bug as well.
