Now that we've partially moved into our new house and I'm recovering
from knee surgery, I decided to give a look at the list. The long
thread on gcc 2.7.* caught my eye, and I thought I'd respond.
At my place of work, we support our product on four platforms:
Solaris, HPUX, AIX, and Windows NT.
Hi Jose, and others,
during the last weekend I had the opportunity to upgrade to LyX 1.03. I
also continued to write some documents with
LyX using the LinuxDoc (or SGML) article
document type. I would like to make some comments, which are hopefully
useful to you developers! To make it clear

Hi,
I announce the first release of lyxexport, a semi-batch export utility for
LyX. It currently exports in txt, tex, dvi, ps, and even pdf if you have a
working pdflatex.
It can also count text words using wc(1) on the .txt file generated by
LyX.

THe text of
Section 5.6.1 states that M-c i yields the calligraphic font, while the
table indicates both M-c i and M-c e. However, only the "e" variant
seems to work (they should also match, I suppose).

Yes, perhaps.

No.
for a static method the class works more like a namespace.

I think RTTI gives better *compile time* type checking than
another solution. I.e. static_cast will gladly cast a void pointer
into the inset hierarchy at compile time, while dynamic_cast will
complain at compile time.
That's the

Yes should this id decide the type, or should the type decide the id?

Hi,
Before I start - thanks for lyx. It makes life a lot easier. I think using
lyx I understand Tex a lot better, and use more of its capabilities than
I might have when I was less tex-aware or tex-brave!
I am using 1.0.3 June 1st 1999
