I am often hacking away at preamble or included files, then want to prompt LyX to run LyX for an update. It seems that, sometime in recent versions, more "intelligence" was introduced to LyX's detection of whether changes have been made to the text. Now, instead of just hitting the space bar har

I hit ^C^C in the file selection menu in exmh, and instead of a "huh?", it sent the underlying message . . . resume.ps

I'm stumped. I've managed to force the letter class, with a huge preamble, to come up looking like a resume, with a nice typeface for the name&address on the initial page, an upper left label on later pages, and email/web formatted at the bottom of the first page. But a few things come up:

two and three day old instances seem to crash
