Someone with web access: please change the main web site to point out that
1.0.1 is the latest version! Hopefully lars will fix the lyx-current link
in the ftp site soon, too.

Hi,
I encountered a Lyx crash while (I think ?) I was closing of the

Hello,
Would it be a good idea to make LyX "clip" inserted EPS figures to their
bounding boxes? Some programs produce EPS files with extra whitespace
around the bounding box. The bounding box may, however, correctly

Hi,
does xforms have a way to display tooltips for menu entries? Even for
ghosted (grey) ones. Well, probably not?
It would be great to tell the user why certain things are not available.
E.g. that something with his latex environment isn't correct if he can't
preview files and so on.
Any ideas

Hi!
After Joacim's angry and furious rant about the lack of design documents, I
figured that I would humour him a bit and write 11 pages about the strings and
encodings in the new kernel. This is thus an experiment to try to prove him
wrong about the design documents. I hope that nobody will re
I finaly got my act together and released LyX 1.0.1. (Two days

This fixes several bugs in 1.0.0 and has a couple of new features,
most notably the support for literate programming.
