I'd prefer to use my [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail. I have a complicated set-up for my
five different e-mail accounts, and I'd rather not make that six e-mails if
possible.
(You may have noticed that sometimes my mails come from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I can't make everything work perfectly..)
Regarding author of web-pages: The author variable was put in, so that the
author would show up on the page. This way, questions from users are typically
answered by the best person.
I get personal mail from time to time from people asking about something
regarding to LyX. I guess they ask me, because my e-mail is on the web-page.
