Yes, but we are not going to change 1.0.0pre now.
I'd be happy to accept patches for 1.1.x though.

Cool!
Please upload the patches to somewhere. I want to look at this!
Congratulations on the effort!

Hello,
As suggested by Henner Zeller, I have updated the cvsweb script using
his improved configuration file. This will be temporarily in:

and if in a couple of days I don't receive any complaint ([EMAIL PROTECTED])

This makes KLyX have a more modern look, and if you are using
KDE, it is probably easier to use compared to the "normal" LyX.
It says exactly the same thing, but doesn't have the connotations that
KLyX is easier in general that some people have picked up on.

Hi,
I have introduced some changes, now linuxdoc support is in the same foot as
latex support. Linuxdoc is no more an exception inside LyX.
I created a new tag for Textclass: OutputType, that has three possible
values, at least now, Latex, linuxdoc and docbook. Latex is the defaul

Yes, fix-03 is the latest, but it does not change anything in this file. I

Another sentiment here is that the web page just gives KLyX too much

Why not just say (hopefully at the *bottom* of the page) that a "snapshot"
was ported to QT, with hooks into KDE giving LyX some extra functionality;
if you're interested, click here? While making it clear that the

Yes. I don't want to start a flame-war, and should therefor just shut
up, but at the same time I feel that I should explain the reasons behind
the statement a bit more, since I'm the one responsible for them on the web

Lots of disgreement here, and obviously in many quarters.
KLyX offers nothing whatsoever to ease use, particularly at those points
where LyX and LaTeX meet (e.g., ERT). For most users, the experience is
the same. LyX is even a couple of bumps ahead on the road, isn't it?
(KLyX is 12.0 code).
Hi there!
I just compiled and played around with v1.0pre2.
When selecting the menu item "Insert->Index entra last word"
with the cursor at the end of the document LyX sometimes hangs
and prints the message

It says that it's easier and more modern if you use KDE. That's because
it *is* more modern and easier if you use KDE.
