Well, I think I'll just switch to chromium. Open source and working.
Thanks for the help.

Now I tried with "firefox | pastebinit". it says:
(process:3174): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion
'sys_page_size == 0' failed
You are trying to send an empty document, exiting.

When I run firefox from a terminal it says:

Well, I just installed chromium (don't want Chrome) without pepperflash and
it runs bandcamp without a problem (and generally seems to run smoother
than Firefox). Sadly, it seems the problem is with FireFox, at least in my
computer.

he dated flash plugin and bandcamp worked, but my
browsing speed plummeted and things started to be really laggy (I hate
Flash) so I removed it.
What can I do?
Is this something you encountered before?

Hi Marc,
I don't know what FCITX is, but as I shared earlier, I solved the problem
as far as I'm concerned. The bug is still there, but that's a different
story and I'm not sure how to help with that.

Logout and login again, then test by toggling Alt-Shift.

Thank all of you for your patience and your help. It makes even solving

I tried it out in Gedit. LibreOffice still has the spellchecker.

It worked! Thank you so much!
The only problem is now I seem to have lost the Hebrew spell checker, which
I guess is part of the other Hebrew input method. Is there a way to get
only the spell checker?

Thanks! Well, I have a US keyboard too (I have little stickers for the
Hebrew letters) so this definitely seems worth a try.

Thanks for responding. I'm to much of a newbie to understand most of what
you said though :(
The site doesn't seem to be related to linux...
I looked through the different keyboard options in "preferences" and there
aren't many of them, and nothing looks relevant...
glish, use the shortcuts and switch back to Hebrew. This
is a very big problem for the flow of work, and makes the shortcuts hardly
short.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thank you.
