I have a suspicion as to what the problem might be. Can you send a picture of your keyboard? Also it would be nice to have the output of `setxkbmap -query -verbose 10`. It also might be good to have the same thing if you do `setxkbmap -option "us,il" && setxkbmap -query -verbose 10`. After you do

Ctrl+space works, as do other shortcuts without letters. as I said, the keyboard switches between Hebrew and English, but when the keyboard is set to Hebrew the shortcuts that require English letters (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and so forth) won't work. Other Hebrew speaking users I know reported similar pro
