I completely agree here.  I think things should be setup so the user can
do things easily.  Besides the computer should be doing most of the work
computing what is the best choice for the user.  Not everyone who uses
an alternate installer even knows what 'sda' means, let alone 'bootloader'.

The whole idea behind Ubuntu is 'Linux for Human Beings' so even the
alternate installers should accommodate regular humans using it.

If the installer can make really good guesses and inform the user what
would be a fairly reasonable choice, the user doesn't have to work so
hard to install, and can get on to recycling their old computer into a
wonderful Lubuntu machine.
