Nio,
I've just tested your instructions at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/grub-n-iso
from items a) to f1), g) and h) and now on the live session cat
/proc/cpuinfo reports 36 bits physical so I guess my Celeron M 1.2Ghz has
PAE capability. note that on lubuntu 12.04 it's reporting 32 bits phys

Let's avoid copying threads to "every imaginable Lubuntu mailing
list"... pick the one list that is appropriate for your topic.

Hi everybody,
I suggest that we try to make a Lubuntu iso file, that can boot in 'all'

It used to be possible with 32-bit systems, but now there are more and
more UEFI systems, which need a 64-bit version to boot. Many of them can
be switched between UEFI and CSM, b
I support the idea to keep focus on a Lubuntu CD size iso file, and to
make it good.
Best regards

about them, but he could still get complained about. Lubuntu is now the
only member of the family that still has a CD sized installation ISO.
Whilst I fully support such community respins such as LXLE, some computers

Hi Jonathan,
Well, if my sister cancelled out the upgrade it must affect some people?
Scary warning messages that can be ignored are not really 'user friendly'
:) I, for one, had also never seen that warning before and had to ask about
it.

Phill.

Hello Lubuntu users,
Are there any plans to increase the ISO image size from a CD to DVD with tons
of application and codec, just like LXLE, for deployment in older machines?
Thanks!
