Is it just with the Lubuntu installer or also with the normal Ubuntu
installer? If the latter, then it's a Ubiquity bug, otherwise it's indeed
our issue. I hope someone with time on it's side is able to check this.

nkering with
a new header for the wiki/help pages. It can all be "moved" or copied to
the correct area later without problem and free your own sandbox area.
Either way is good, keep me informed.

As far as I know was the yellow address bar an additional indication that
someone is using the file manager with root privileges.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

P.s.: Note to Xubuntu; I haven't subscribed to the lubuntu-qa list so my
message first needs to get approved.

I don't know if the update-notifier is enabled by default (it's a small
script or something that checks once a day/week for new updates), but
otherwise a quick boot up of update-manager and letting it check manually
would suffice.

P.s. I usually run "sudo apt-g
ll checked automatically.

Yup, that's about right. That is probably also the reason why there isn't a
respin of the images.

This depends on the programs you use. xxxterm is much lighter then
chromium-browser for instance.

It's even a pre-alpha spin. Basically it's precise with an updated
kernel/core apps. For testing pcmanfm you should check out that github
version.

As per mention on the Fridge calender and
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeamit's Wednesday at 14:00 UTC. On the
above mentioned link you'll find more
information about the QA team. (Note: meetings was "hidden" in the banner
alone, not that five block header).

William, I am with you. But still "remove windows" leaves the would-be
ubuntu user to think that there may be a way to put it back later...
Perhaps "remove windows and all your files completely - they cannot be
recovered except possibly from whatever backup you have" would be better.
