Is ppc still kept up in some version? I used to be on the testing team for
lubuntu, but lately I have been booted from #ubuntu-testing, and I haven't
received anything regarding ppc on the maillist in ages. My old G4 still works
fine, and I can install beta versions if testers still are needed.

Hi,
The general feeling, as it has been so far, is a great looking desktop with a
beautiful
theme, background, I love the icons for this version, and I greatly appreciate
the button
menu on the panel because it is large and the non tech/end users should not
miss it!

Hi,
About ZRAM : I have written a very detailed bug report last year about the
chosen setups
in Ubuntu. (Which has not been considered and no argument given : removed! :-( )

Lubuntu and netboot still have PPC images on iso.qa.ubuntu.com, plus
most of the flavours have PPC precise images.

Hi Arild,
as Jackson noted, there are still ppc images for lubuntu. The dailies are
at http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/270/builds if you grab one
of those, come the final beta landing for testing, you will need to just
zsync up your image.
Regards,
Phill.

Netboot also has PPC64 for some reason, but that goes untested.

Hi Jackson,
We tend to hit that one for release candidate. As it is the base build for
the DE ppc ones, if they work we do have a high degree of certainty that
both it and the server will be okay. It's a case of us deploying our
limited resources to where needed. (the arm-ac100 is also going to be
Hi Nio,
Julien is going to try and speed up the time it takes for the test kernel
with the zram fix rolled in to be used. It will not be there in time for
our final beta. Can you update the bug with how to 'turn off' zram when
installing. We've simply run out of time to get a test ISO created.

Hi folks,
I know the final beta is not due for testing until monday evening but can
you have check over what bugs are still affecting lubuntu. We will have a
short IRC meeting on Tuesday[1]. Can you add any bugs that you feel need

Hi Kjetil,
can you try this with saucy? The final beta is due out for testing tomorrow
evening (European time).
Thanks,

Hi,
Although I refreshed the ISO with the zsync command, it's still says 20130920.
I want to test it in a laptop IBM T30 with the Intel Pentium 4 - M 1.8 Ghz CPU

I burned it to CD, and my machine seems not to boot to CD anymore. I started
