Hi Christopher,
Until you get an answer from Phill, I suggest that you download an
alternate iso and start testing it.
What kind of environment is available for you to test it?

Hi again Christopher,
I think you know at least as much as I about testing :-D
Anyway, you need to live too, so only if you have some time now ...
please try installing Lubuntu from an alternate iso. You would help us
perform a good beta 1 test. I think it will finish today or tomorrow.

Phill,
I have that iso already. Should we both test it, would you like to do
it, or would you like me to do it?
I think it might be a good idea that we are both testing it, because I
am not that I understand all the bells and whistles of the encryption.
Best regards
Nio

Phill.

If we're 'hitting' the alt-32 bit, that just needs the desktop 32 bit
remaining tests and we're good to go!

Phill.

As you will have read, I'm resigning my positions on all teams. This means
that lubuntu need an extra release manager and new Team Leader.
As soon as this is decided I'll hand over the team and the person applying
for release manager can liase with Julien.
I'll still be testing, so you will still

Hi,
as this email is sent out, I am now dis-engaging from all the above teams.
@ Nicolas, I'll maintain a subscription to the page
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Hardware and continue to update it.
I wish you all the very best for the future.
Phill.

I'm just finishing the alt-64 encrypted one. I'll grab an alt-32 and do the
encrypted one for that in a few hours (takes a couple of hours for me to
download an ISO).

Phill.

Hi,
The 'Alternate Install (Encryption) in Lubuntu Alternate i386 for Saucy
Daily'
To my understanding the installation worked well. Max gave me the whole
drive.
There was only a minor obstacle: It is somewhat confusing at the
partitioning: The system complained about partition sda5, although I

Just after posting about my typical i386 test box still being down due to a

So I'm trying to rebuild a mid 70's Dodge carb while doing these tests.

it's not a health issue or something like that.
I send you my best wishes!
