The soap opera about usb-creator-gtk never ends.
usb-creator-gtk created the live part of the installer, but crashed with
segfault and failed to create a casper-rw file.
I think it is Bug #915626
"usb-creator-gtk crashed with SIGSEGV in _dbus_watch_invalidate"
because the error output contains
[continued at the end]

The new beta1 of the PowerPC Live CD boots! That's fantastic to have
that bug out of the way.
There is still one small problem with the graphics, though. The colors
of the screen are all mangled in such a way that it is not possible to
see anything more than the icons, the title bar of the windo

The Alternate image went through installation just fine but on first
boot up, it presents problems with the graphics. Passing the
'video=radeonfb:...' option at yaboot allows the system to boot
normally. This is something that the installer should have handled, the
Desktop image did this correctl

but the alternate isos are lagging behind. Please help testing the
alternate iso files, amd64+mac & armhf+ac100 :-)
