Hi Nio,
Edubuntu has a system that mirrors all *buntu pages into that area. It is
that students using Edubuntu have benefit to all l / x / k etc flavours :)

Hi Chris,
Thank you for the links (at the end of the mail). I did not know, that
Edubuntu has linked to our 'Lubuntu/AdvancedMethods' page.
Best regards

I encountered this problem while testing an iso a few months ago--the
sliders seemed to work, but the continue button grayed out. If I let
the installer automatically chose the size of the partitions, which
was always about 50% of the available space, then the installation
would continue no

Thanks. I didn't get to the bottom of it, but after an upgrade and
reboot, the device started writing properly again. I've seen it a few
times before, but not often. Before I thought it might have been the
image but now it is clear it was something wrong with the system itself.

I seem to have trouble copying the 2014-04-16 Alternat PPC image to USB
Stick. The 2014-04-14 image and earlier all seemed to work fine. But
the recent one quits after a few seconds with dd and the result is not
bootable.

In the test to install (auto-resize) in Lubuntu Desktop powerpc ubiquity
does not split and resize partitions when told to. The slider can be
moved back and forth but the button to continue stays greyed out.
It looks like one work-around is to first use Gparted before starting
the installation.
