update-manager has managed to turn itself off on Lubuntu systems.
I actually not convinced this bug is affecting everyone. I can't
explain why other people haven't noticed this bug. It's a mystery of
the universe. Please meditate.
anyhow Nicholas Skaggs did some testing on it. Seemed to confir

I think julien would rather have the $$ and buy one himself. Besides,

of x.org. Or using Ron Mitchell's xo

As PPC computers can be low on RAM etc, it has been suggested that we
concentrate on the alternate install iso instead of the desktop one and
push our resources into that.
Again, can I state it is only a suggestion! (although I do se

Ok, feature freeze and beta1 craziness is now behind us. Some of you may
have noticed, but the first phase of our testcase migration is now
complete. All the old testcases (including the application testcases!)
are now migrated into the tracker. You can see the general application
testcases fro
Hi Karl,
if you can find one in France so that Julien has the kit, I'm up for a
donation to buy one for him.

Phill.

A major updating of grub to 2.0 is happening now in quantal. This change
drops alot of custom patches and brings quantal in line with upstream,
fixing bugs and offering a better experience (hopefully!). That said, if
you find any issues or find yourself unable to boot, etc, as always have

Just adding that yes, please file a bug for any testcases that are no
longer correct. I am working on cleaning these up (still, hehe). Since
the installer changes have landed, they must all be updated. Should be
all set for beta2 -- but please point out things you notice missing, I

There is another more up-to-date solution which seems to be less
machine-specific.
It requires the creation of a file in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/
