The idea of a moderated chat I think is acceptable. There will be the
'free-for-all' side chat going at the same time.
If this were the decision time I would argue for an open free chat. However
this seems more to get the basic framework of views out there and
discussed. In any town hall type mee
et an estimate of how many people will be showing up.
This will be a social event to enjoy a meal together and discuss Life, The
Universe, and Ubuntu.

My suggestions on the Bug Jam topic.
Have a 'Running a bug jam' meeting in early January to give people time to
prep a bit based off what they learn. Then a followup at the end of the
month or early February to catch follow up questions and deal with issues on
the way to the day.
