I think it is not that impossible to go like (B), but there should be
several inconveniences using white balance presets that way.
No way to query for supported presets from driver, and no way to
handle unsupported presets even though driver supp

The audio DMA area was never being freed and would slowly leak over
time as the v4l device was opened and closed by an application.

Here comes the full support for AVerMedia Cardbus Plus (E501R) - including
remote control. TV, Composite and FM radio tested, I don't have S-Video to
test. I've figured out that the radio works only with xtal frequency 13MHz.
Now without word-wrapping.

I'm not much of a hardware guy (I know enough to get around) so
hopefully I don't sound too inept here.
I suspect this is probably some issue with the USB host chipset. The
error messages you provided suggest a problem sending commands to the
dib0700 USB bridge, so this does not appear to be rel

Thank you for your prompt response, Devin.
1. Are you sure the port on the PC supports USB 2.0?
According to the M3A78-EM spec, all 6 USB ports are 2.0, so I don't
think that is the issue. I will double-check this, though.
