The --include-dir flag is used to include check-in Makefiles from

for in-tree build. Add the flag just before changing the working

This becomes effective after invoking sub-make. Add a little bit
comments about it.

The naked attribute is supported by at least gcc >= 4.6 (for ARM,
which is the only current user), gcc >= 8 (for x86), clang >= 3.1

Commit 9c695203a7dd ("compiler-gcc.h: gcc-4.5 needs noclone
and noinline on __naked functions") added noinline and noclone
as a workaround for a gcc 4.5 bug, which was resolved in 4.6.0.
Since now the minimum gcc supported version is 4.6,
we can clean it up.
See https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_
These two patches are the 5th and 6th of the Compiler Attributes series,
which Stefan and Nick requested to go into v4.19 so that the clang ARM32

kvmclock defines few static variables which are shared with the
hypervisor during the kvmclock initialization.
When SEV is active, memory is encrypted with a guest-specific key, and
if the guest OS wants to share the memory region with the hypervisor
then it must clear the C-bit before sharing it.
The following commit

The recent removal of the memblock dependency from kvmclock caused a SEV
guest regression because the wall_clock and hv_clock_boot variables are
no longer mapped decrypted when SEV is active.
Use the __bss_decrypted attribute to put the static wall_clock and
hv_clock_boot in the .bss..decrypted se

This needs to be:

This changes the behavior of the KASLR logic for allocating memory for the text
sections of loadable modules. It randomizes the location of each module text
section with about 17 bits of entropy in typical use. This is enabled on X86_64
only. For 32 bit, the behavior is unchanged.
It refactors exi
This adds a test module in lib/, and a script in kselftest that does
benchmarking on the allocation of memory in the module space. Performance here
would have some small impact on kernel module insertions, BPF JIT insertions
and kprobes. In the case of KASLR features for the module space, this modu

Add debugfs file "modfraginfo" for providing info on module space fragmentation.
This can be used for determining if loadable module randomization is causing any
problems for extreme module loading situations, like huge numbers of modules or
extremely large modules.
