Sorry - I forgot one important detail in my previous post, so here's more info.
The /usr/bin/mozilla file is a shell script to run mozilla and it includes the
following line:
MOZ_PROGRAM="/usr/lib/mozilla/mozilla-bin"
So I decided to also try running mozilla directly and I got the same error

1. Compiling the MDK Cooker Source RPMs.
2. Installing the resultant RPMs.

those of you who suggested the different XF86Config-4 mouse settings, I've
tried them all with no success. I even tried the Imwh
Evolution cannot authenticate me via Secure IMAP too :-(, the IMP web
client works fine, but evolution and the imap instance on the remote
machine both hang and I have to kill them manually.

I had the same problem installing on RH 7.2 when selected the
development tools to be installed too, when removed it from them list
everything went fine, and another small error occured that was it
wasn't able to remove two packages it was trying to remove, I removed
them manually with rpm -e
