When I wanted to run Galeon, what I did was upgrade to Mozilla 0.9.6 and the up-to-date Galeon by:
1. Compiling the MDK Cooker Source RPMs. 2. Installing the resultant RPMs. 3. Installing the Galeon's Red-Hat RPM. Since then they worked fine. Of-course, no there's Mozilla 0.9.7 and the most up-to-date Galeon only works with that. But I don't have the nerve to repeat the lengthy Mozilla compilation again. I found myself using mostly Netscape 6.2, when not in KDE (and sometimes when in it, if Konq does not display correctly). I believe Galeon is a bit more usable than Netscape 6.2, but the latter already has Flash and Java, which is a huge advantage.
