Hi All
Currently I work with curior imap server which work quiet nice.
in the last few days after I installed the new version on new Mandrake 9 I
started absorb strange behaviors.
like some of the connection to the shared malidirs disappeared.
Any way I though of moving to other imap server
mutt supports access to imapd server via ssh, like pin.e
The configuration line is (from the online documentation to mutt 1.3.7)
account-hook imap://host2/ 'set tunnel="ssh host2 /usr/libexec/imapd"'

courier has also a mail delivery program (maildrop) and a webmail client
(SqWebMail (?)). Hwever both postfix and procmail can deliver mail to a
maildir, and webmail clients that support an IMAP server are dirt-cheap
;-) .
Any good reason to use maildrop and/or

Hi
I'm still looking for the Perfect Server. [but in the mean while].
I currently have postfix/uw-imapd installed on my server.
The default folder format has one big problem: only one process may read
the same mailbox at a time.
I want to keep my users as real unix users, for various reasons.

Hello everybody !
I have just installed Linux Mandrake 7.0 on PC. This PC run WIN-NT and
had connection to Internet and our IMAP server.
I use exactly the same IP address the PC had before.
I can make a ping to IMAP server and I can open telnet session to
imap port 143 on
I'm using mutt with IMAP and SSL, and wu-imapd on the
server side. Anyone knows how can I prevent the connection
timing out after some inactivity time? That's getting
real annoying, especially if I write a long email
and the FCC to Sent folder gets a timeout.
