In the past i wrote a script called pop2sms that used ICQ to send sms
messages when i got an email.
ICQ has limitations like 20 if you do not reply by sms etc... you'll
have to investigate what are these limitations.

That's not enough. You have to maintain it against future carrier changes. I
can't recommend this route - this is how previous scripts fail, they always
broke - and we lost the arm race.

There isn't something that does that.
My suggestinon - if you are not going to send more than 10 a day. You could
automate the sending of SMS via the carrier's website. I tried automating
the login and SMS sending pelephone, but didn't get it to work. There used
to be scripts for it, but they stope
