Well, in the Technion, The Electrical Engineering department has a
computer farm with many Linux workstations on it. It is used to teach
students the course "Mavo LeMa'arakhot Tokhna" (Introduction to Software
Systems).
Plus, Linux is covered in the course "Mivne Ma'arakhot Hafa'ala"
(Structure
I know that in Mercaz Madaim, dimona we are planing to convert anything
to linux! :)

Hi David,
Well, I know that many colleagues have Linux installed and its used for
training for students who learn computer sciences ("Madaaei Hamachsev"),
places like the Netanya College, "Hamichlala Leminhal", etc..
Its being used for learning basic UNIX..
