My old ADSL modem was an Alcatel SpeedTouch (supplied by Bezeq). The
new one is a SIEMENS SL2-141 (also supplied by Bezeq).

my requirements, or is there a way to get the SIEMENS working how I want?
Thanks in advance for any help,

I was running ppp-2.3.6-3 from RedHat.
