i have Fedora core 2, it has alsa utils
already in it, but the sound card on my ASUS motherboard wasn't detected
properly, how can i "activate" alsa to detect it? there is no alsaconf,
alsaconfig binary anywhere on the system.

program that needs glibc-2.2 on my computer which has glibc-2.1 installed
