Hi!

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I've done quite a bit
of searching and experimenting, and I can't figure out how to run a
program that needs glibc-2.2 on my computer which has glibc-2.1 installed
(specifically, I want to run open office.) I tried putting the glibc-2.2
libs in a separate directory and using LD_LIBRARY_PATH and LD_PRELOAD, but
I just get a message about "version GLIB_PRIVATE not available". Is this
possible to do at all, and can someone just give me a pointer to the
instructions if so?

Thanks,

Ephraim Yawitz
