In Debian, like in other distributions, the network is set up early in the
installation process. Assuming that I changed my mind, moved the system to
some other environement, or just wish to correct a mistake, is there a

After my last post about the TV modules not being loaded, I kept looking and
found /etc/modprobe.conf. I noticed it contained the following line:
install saa7134 ; /bin/true
Since the original error message (included here again) included reference to
`; /bin/true', I decided to try fixing that
I do 2 things that you might dislike:
1. Guessing. I don't know a definite answer for your problem.
2. Trying to apply my Debian installation to your MDK.

well hebnukers also distribute their version 2.0 for a payment of 20$
like phpnuke people does. to "donators" since in this kind of stuff the
source code is the program the question if you are allowed to do it or not
is intersting, would the people who bought it be allowed to give it away
for free?
You mentioned sa7134 and saa7134; note a single and a double 'a'
character. Is this a typo?

I've got a Flyvideo TV card that has worked fine until now (with saa7134) on
various versions of Mandrake (currently MDK10.0).
Last week, after a reboot caused by a power outage, the TV card stopped
working and I saw that the sa7134 module wasn't loaded. I tried to load it
manually and got an e
