I've got a Flyvideo TV card that has worked fine until now (with saa7134) on
various versions of Mandrake (currently MDK10.0).

Last week, after a reboot caused by a power outage, the TV card stopped
working and I saw that the sa7134 module wasn't loaded. I tried to load it
manually and got an error message.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] solomon]# modprobe saa7134
sh: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
sh: -c: line 1: `; /bin/true'
FATAL: Error running install command for saa7134

The module exists and is found by modprobe.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] solomon]# modprobe -l saa7134*
/lib/modules/2.6.3-4mdk/kernel/drivers/media/video/saa7134/saa7134.ko.gz
[EMAIL PROTECTED] solomon]#

I haven't made any recent changes to my system, but it's possible something (I
have no idea what) was changed **automatically** since I regularly run
MandrakeUpdate. I don't know if this is a problem with modprobe or the
module. But I do suspect the problem is with the module since I tried
randomly loading other un-needed modules with no problems. Does anyone have
any idea what this could be?

TIA
