Hello List!
Apparitio (from #iglu) asked me to let the people which are
responsible for iglu.org.il's job database know that it's not really functioning
currently..
I don't know who they are, so I'm putting it in here..

Kgcc is still shipped with redhat 7.1, but it's not installed by
default. It lives in gcc-compat package, which is used mainly to compile

hi.
I'm trying to install adsl on redhat 7.1
I followed mulix adsl-bezeq-howto, and it was
running good till after I ran pptp.
when I run pptp, it shows me "outgoing call
established" message.
when I run ifconfig, there is no ppp. also, the
routing table is not like what it should be (accor

Ok.
I downgraded my bios from P17 to P15...meaning two generations, dating a
year back...
still the same results.
This is stopping to be interesting and begins to be annoying.
I'de love to hear any ideas.
Has anyone had these problems before (With Win2K or linux)?
and if so how were they solved?

Just a small literary correction: the name is "Beowulf",
Basically what it means is that my BIOS has problems with the HD's...
I just upgraded to the latest version of my bios, it solved a few
problems i had before (liek it not being able to boot from CD)..
If it is true then I have to downgrade the bios... which is an
interesting task on its own...

Hi list.
I just finished installing a new linux system (RH7.1 based).
the system was installed on a new HD which is currently configured as a
secondary slave on a PIII machine with SE440BX-2 motherboard.
I'm having a few problems here:
1. A bit off topic but might be related, the PM HD is a 15GB

Hi Hetz
I don't really use gnome, but in fact I'm trying to install gnome-libs and
some more stuff in order to use galeon.. I have a little problem which
isn't related to gcc 3.0, and I think it's going to compile well after
I'll fix that.
Until now I had no problem with compiling any C program,

Hi all
Actually, this is off-topic, but if anybody knows how charset definitions
should work with Solaris 8, please contact me, as at the computer at work
the iso-8859-8 charset is not availble, and the sysadmin doesn't know what
needs to be done to add it.

hmm... anyone know a better (faster) way to print to a printer on a

Hi,
Don't try to compile KDE on GCC 3.0 - it will give you tons of error and many
applications will not work...
As soon as KDE 2.2 will be out (probably in a month or so) - the cvs tree
will be "unfrozen" and people would be able to commit code. There are several
peopel already who are workin
Not a problem... You may have given me what I need anyway (to start
with :) How about this:
cd /usr/share/i18n/
localedef -f charmaps/ISO-8859-8 -u repertoiremaps/mnemonic.ds -i
locales/he_IL he_IL
