Hi again,
The snippets doesnt work without \score or \relative, indeed.
It also doesnt accept identifiers...
I build the whole file from 0 to get where the problem comes.
Either it isnt very elegant, I can cope with it.It work fine with:
\version "2.10.25"
\paper {
% #(define dump-extents #t)
Hi,
It works fine now (fragments on a line) with the source here. But I cant

Hi!
I think of buying a dot-matrix printer, to reduce costs specially with the
draft-prints with lilypond.
But does it works (does it prints graphics?)? I found nothing serious about it
in the archiv or in the web.
I never used a dot-matrix before...
Of course I will continue to use my ink-jet
Hi!
Yes I know, its a newby question. And I found nothing really helpful that
defines it in relation with lilypond.

Hi Claudio,
it is exactly as it is written. But dont hope too much of it, it depends on
differents factors in the *.mid(i) file if it works good or not. Without
option it writes a new file .ly (not on STDOUT)
Hope this helps

Hi!
Is now (2.10.) Lilypond totally separated from TeX? In former versions,
lilypond generated a *.tex file, but not anymore (it seems, or is it handled
as a tmp and removed), and nothing appears in the Manual, how to get this
file...
Thanks

Hi again and again,
Is there a reverse way of lilypond-book,

Johny Haliday & a chocolate organ-pipe \\

I think it would be nice to offer better service for newbies here.
I thought about a kind of sponsorship: Users may register as sponsor, newbies
(specially newbies coming from pure Windowing without a background in
programming/scripting) may register as newbies, all classified in lands.

Hi,
When I use lilypond book, the output (A4) is "offseted" with some 8 cm to
the right side of the page.
I suppose the problem is well known. But what is the solution ;-)
I would also be pleased to know how to use A3 paper in lilypond-book without
having to install the Koma-Script

Hello!
I am new (and enthousiastic) for Lilypond.
But my first question is a formal one:
Isnt it possible to have automatically something like [Lilylist] in the
thread? All mails comes to me looking like private Mails.

In my case it would be right to use for every note that is hold a new voice,

Hi,
Thanks to Maurizio, I nested the different parts with << {} // {} >> and it

But I would be able to make better work if I could understand why making
expression for everything is for lilypond important? Expression for the

Hi!
I need a very portable solution. Does somebody knows if lilypond works on a
