Aah, right. I remember now.
What about using
\override MultiMeasureRest #'staff-position = #0
Does that do the trick? (I can't test myself right now)
Cheers,

There is a snippet in the LSR called "Merging rests automatically..."
that does merge rests from different Voices into only one
"default-position" rest.
It is the snippet #336

It does not handle MultiMeasureRests, it's a pity.
I don't remember
Thanks. But when I used 30, my full score was fattened from 34 pages to 38, and
there are many warnings saying (de)crescendo too small, in fact they are not
small; and a programming error in harp part in 2.13.24 increased to several:
"no note heads for the line spanner on neighbor line? Confused

Lilypond user community:
I started to use lilypond window (XP) version 2.13. ( I am a newbie to
lilyPond). The following is lilypond text file I managed to compose. I have
question ato ask for assistance.

Once again! Thanks!
Definitely I was the one implementing the trick in a wrong way!
A little add to the trick so the first tempo of the bar stays intact, I
touch the time stretch of the predecessor note to the glissando. Mean:
realtive c'={
\time 4/4
e'4 d2.*3/4 \hideNotes a2.*1/4 \noBeam \glissan
Hi Pato,
Perhaps a less fussy way would be to tweak BendAfter, e.g.
\version "2.13.29"
anotherWay = \relative c' {
\override BendAfter #'extra-offset = #'(-4.25 . -2)
\override BendAfter #'minimum-length = #2
e'4 d2.
\bendAfter #4 f4 e2.
\bendAfter #4 g4 f2.
}
\score { \anotherWay }

I also found that \mark\markup { blabla } type of rehearsalmarks are
clickable, but contain only the directory without the filename. (In all Lily
versions up to 2.13.30.)
Great that
Hey, it's excellent I think. I say 'I think' cause I'm on a library
computer and it's hard to judge the 'travel' of the keys and when they

a metronome sound?
Nevertheless, I was getting around 98% so there's room from improvemen

Hi!
A user on the LilyPond French Users mailing list would like to use the
"Measure counter" snippet one can find here:
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.13/Documentation/snippets/repeats
*BUT* he also would like the number "1" to be printed on the first
repeated measure.
Is it possible to tweak "count

No. In the first bar, there's no PercentRepeat
