Hi everybody,
just joined the list a minute ago and soon raises a question:
Well, if a short passage of two or three bars is to be repeated then
that phrase itself might be highlighted with a line with square ends
lying above the bar and the word "Bis" in the middle of the line.

Hi Joe,
between-system-padding doesn't work for anything any more; it has
been removed.
OK.
For Lyrics spacing, you have (for spacing within a system)

Hi Trevor,
I think you're right. I tried the example in the manual and I hear the bd4
dn4 bd4 sn4 in the midi, but only that! Do you think that this will be
fixed, cause I really like it this way so I can create and combine all kind
of patterns to create a score very easily.

It clearly shows I think, that there is nothing wrong with the pretty
name "GNU LilyPond" (yes, without the ugly underscore), but the nsis
script should be written to use LilyPond and not the ugly GNU_LilyPond
as installation folder.
Though I very strongly object to having the meaningless, con
Hi,
What am I missing in the snippet below to increase the vertical spacing

Not much difference from the last time you saw it. And at the
moment, I don't expect much to happen to it for the rest of the
month. That's a shame, since the translators would like to start
working on it
I forgot to mention that the main links to manuals are broken, but
if you follow the "split HTML" links, they work.
Anyway, in addition to the webpage, the documentation has been

I can provide a version of "Adeste fideles"[1] arranged for
SATB, oboe, trumpet, basson and strings.
Let me know whether it would be useful.
