I need to get two voices on the first stave and then 2 additional staves
with one voice on each. Can anyone give me an actual code that would perform
this task?

Or until that time have explicit naming.

I also seem to recall that having custom graphics made is possible and
is not a terribly expensive sponsorship. You would have to inquire as
to the price and likelihood of implementation, though, if this is
something that interests you.

Hello,
In my Debian like Linux (actually Kurumin) installing lilypond works
fine, without complaints, but I cannot use it because my system still
finds some old version (2.4.0).
I have been using lilypond since 1.4.12 or alike, and in this system
of mine it has been quite complicated to have a

I've been filddling a little with a context for pipebans snare drum.
One of the things needed is a way to put a bracket above arbitrary
music to indicate the tytti passages. I first tried this by using
\startGroup and \endGroup. That worked, but the syntax was a bit
awkward. I have reread the manua
Thank you so much! Now it works, very well!

Yes, with apt-get, usually from packages made by some Lilypond
contributors.

I managed to get 'convert-ly' version 2.8.1 to run in Cygwin
by doing the following:
1) I have Cygwin LilyPond 2.6.4 installed. This was installed
in the default location using the 'setup' program.
2) I have Windows Lilypond 2.8.1 installed in the directory
c:\nobackup\LilyPond.

There weren't any syntax changes after 2.7.40, so that's what

A single one? I can't imagine how you've not have some multiple of 2.
Completely unambiguous would be the designation "no swing" above the

A much better solution is to download and install the Windows version
of Python from www.python.org and then add it at the beginning of your
PATH, either by doing set PATH="C:\Program Files\Python2.4;%PATH%
in the command shell before running convert-ly
or by doing it once and for all by right-

My advice would be to uninstall this with apt-get, and try the GUB
installer. Deleting the binaries doesn't uninstall the program.

so, for instance /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin if the new is in
/usr/local/bin and the old is in /usr/bin?
but with the old binaries deleted, is the old installation still salvageable?

This error can appear if a dynamic library cannot be found or loaded.
On my system, lilypond is a shell-script wrapper which sets
LD_LIBRARY_PATH and then execs a binary. Check that the

Hello everyone,
I'm an occasional user of lilypond, and new to this list. I'm also the
maintainer of a few packages in Fedora Extras, and I'm considering
submitting lilypond for inclusion there. Initially I built everything

Hi, I'm also interested in using this kind of clef in Lilypond. There is a

Have you made sure to search the mailing list archives of both
bug-lilypond and liliypond-devel? I'm pretty sure you can find
an explanation of the patch there.
Also, when talking about Ghostscript versions, note that there
are two parallel sets of versions, the GNU and the AFPL versions.
