Downloaded the "new" native lilypond 2.5.29-2 and have been trying it
out but I'm still resorting to my "old" 2.4.2 in Cygwin for serious
editing. One p
.ly file so that the reader can
see in context how the whole is constructed.
If this exists, then forgive the suggestion and point me to the right
place. The snippets help, but I am better helped by seeing the whole
rather than the parts that make it.

Already looked into that and I have read permissions available for
everyone. (It was automatically set for that, I did not change anything).
the whole file, or the download may be corrupt. You can try
re-downloading it.
