How would I subdivide tuplets, so the triples are grouped together like:
===-===-===
(I want to do this inside a cadenza if that makes a difference)
\version "2.18.2"
\relative c' {
\time 1/4
\cadenzaOn
\tuplet 9/8 { c'16[ d c b c b a b a] }
\cadenzaOff
}

That did the trick! Thanks!

I've installed (and uninstalled/reinstalled) the current LilyPond
(2.18.2-1) on Windows 7 (with all the latest updates).
From the command line I'm compiling this example:
\version "2.18.2"
{ c' c' c' c' }
with this command:
lilypond Untitled.ly
It fails to compile:
Processing `C:/
ok like my supplied gif.
\version "2.18.2"
\new Staff {
\time 6/8
\relative g' {
a'16( d, a) a'( d, a) a'( d, a) a'( d, a~)
}
}
Thanx in advance!

What's causing this? What can I do about it?
I'm still very much a newbie.
