rs to the table of
contents? I'm looking at toc-init.ly, but I'm afraid the Scheme code is
pretty opaque to me...

I've prepared a shortish example, but it's still sort of long so instead of
including it here I've made a gist:
https://gist.github.com/colomon/7722b122f1ec84f918e0b1b0b1c86ff8 (This
version includes ".|:-||" where I'd hope to have "".|:-|.".)
Any ideas to help me?
Thanks,

My few attempts at this that seem to have correct syntax seem to center it
on the edge of the page or something weird like that.

ally understanding markup / markuplist is my major obstacle to getting
things done. I can't even tell in this is a simple problem I'm asking or a
subtle and difficult one.

like to use, but it looks
like you've solved the putting centered text under the tunes, not breaking
them across pages, and having an index. That's most of the major issues
I'm worried about. I'd love to see your LY files to see how you are doing
this.
Thanks so much,
Sol
PS
creating an index?
Given 200+ short tunes, that's probably much more useful, IMO.
Thanks in advance for any and all help,
Sol
