I've just put up Mozart's Dies Irae (from the Requiem) on
www.mutopiaproject.org. However, the generated MIDI file sounds a bit
strange.
There are some strange kind of percussion sounds when I listen to it
with timidity. Maybe there is a bug in timidity. However, if i remove
one of the staffs (any

myself some work by converting this file to ly.
The original file[2] is in Encore[3] format, which I don't know how to
convert, so my only option is
I am stress testing lilypond by typesetting Mozart's Requiem (the full
score).
I've run into some problems.
Some Staffs feature two instruments, when one is resting for several
bars, I don't want the rest sign if the other instrument is playing. If
use 's' then the rest sign won't show up if I ma
