Can anyone demonstrate how to use this music function?
\assertBeamSlope
I've seen an example of \assertBeamQuant in the Regression Tests but not
\assertBeamSlope.

According to the beam-center-slope.ly, simple beams on middle staffline are
allowed to be slightly sloped, even if the notes have ledgers. Beams
reaching beyond middle line can have bigger slope.
In my example, beaming a group of four notes that have ledgers, the beam is
flat. I tried the same exa
Is there a setting to get Lilypond to maintain the beam slope shown here
beyond just two notes? I always end up with flat beams when I have a group

Dear all,
Would anyone be interested in implementing this (simple?) improvement to
Lilypond’s horizontal spacing algorithm? The math is all here:

edition is held up as a benchmark of high quality engraving. Seeing this
really helps the user understand why Lilypond’s default slurs are shap
+1 for a cross-platform of LilyQuick!
In fact, would there be any interest in including it in Denemo or
Frescobaldi? It’s absolutely brilliant and I would love to start using it

Hi all,
I'm a Lilypond noob and am trying to customize the header. How do I
