Thank you. In the paper block actually makes it easier to add to multiple
files as I just need to add it to my letterpaper.ly.
Off to scour the documentation for all the overrides!

Do you have a small input file that illustrated the problem?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. For example, why not one Staff and

Thank you so much(!), this one with the vertical line is really nice, it
works here after convert to 2.18.0
Found similar like yesterday but lost it, this one could enlarge and shorten
the vertical line, which does not seem to work now.
Is this your last version?

That is very exciting. I wrote a graduate paper integrating LilyPond and
Gregorio with a LaTeX document, and it was very rewarding. The most beautiful
document I've written (visually, that is). I look forward to reading this
paper. (Provided it will be in English; if not, I'll have my priests

Dear all,
this summer I've been working with Tommaso Gordini on a paper titled
"LilyPond: un music engraver integrabile LaTeX" ("LilyPond: a music
engraver which can be integrated with LaTeX").
The paper, written in Italian, is composed of three parts.
In the first, we describe the peculiar trait
Is there a way to execute a string as a command?
For example,
tt = 45
#(display tt)
#(newline)
jj = "tt = 65"
#(display jj)
#(newline)
tt = #(eval-string jj)
#(display tt)
#(newline)
would display the value 65 for tt, the result of evaluating the string jj.

Very interesting. And you are sure this is a rest? Can you give more
information on the composer and the piece? Is the original manuscript
available online?
It seems that
