Hi
I had trouble with lilypond in SuSE 9.3, which now is solved thanks to
Mats Bengtsson.
This is the solution:
cd /usr/share/lilypond/2.4.4/fonts/
mkdir map
cd map
ln -s ../../dvips/lilypond.map
texhash
Thanks again Mats!

I am using 2.4 (self compiled)
I could patch it, if there is a patch, however, there was a problem
with the fonts after installing, involving editing a map file and adding
file extensions - I would appreciate not going through it again -
is there a workaround? (its only a 3-4 bars example...)
What LilyPond version? This is a known bug that has been fixed
in version 2.5.11 or so, according to
http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/lilypond/lily-bugs/fixed/one-line-staff-no-barline.ly?rev=1.2&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

Would be glad for a tip on that one...
Cheers,
